Collection Suspension on Defaulted Federal Loans Extended

The U.S. Department of Education has made a further extension to the period of collection suspension on defaulted federal loans through December 31, 2022 (the pause had previously been extended through August 31, 2022). As a result, collection activity on defaulted federal loan accounts with our agency will continue to remain suspended through December 31, 2022, with a 0% interest rate.
