Opportunity: Current Scholarship Families
Renewals
Beginning in late January, students who used scholarship funding the previous Fall 2023 semester will receive an offer to renew their scholarship for the 2024-2025 school year.
If your student will receive scholarship funding for the Spring 2024 semester only, then you will receive an offer to renew your student’s scholarship later in the semester.
Families will have until July 1st to respond to their renewal award offer. Be sure to check your notifications in MyPortal weekly and respond to required tasks by the deadline.
School Transfers
A student’s Opportunity Scholarship funds can only be sent to two Direct Payment Schools per semester. The amount of funding that can be sent to the new school depends on the number of weeks the student attended the previous school.
Follow these directions to transfer your student to a different school.
