Phillip Price is the Vice President for Business and Finance/Chief Financial Officer for the NC Community College System. He started this role in July 2023 after almost 20 years working at various community colleges. He most recently served as Executive Vice President/CFO for Central Carolina Community College. He has also held positions as Vice President for Administrative Services, Dean of Administrative Services, and Controller. Prior work experience includes serving as an Assistant State Auditor at the NC Office of the State Auditor with a focus on audits of community colleges, universities, and Clerks of Court.

Price earned a BS, MS, and Ed.D. from East Carolina University and is licensed as a CPA in North Carolina.
