Congratulations on being selected to receive an Opportunity Scholarship for the 2024-25 school year! See below for important information about your scholarship offer, deadlines, and responsibilities.

 

Accept or Decline Your Award

You will have a deadline to accept or decline your student’s award in MyPortal. If you have multiple children who received an award offer, you must respond to each separately.  For assistance on how to accept or decline an award, see the short video provided below. The slide tutorial “After an Award: What are the next steps?” contains instructions on how to respond to an award offer, choose a school, complete income verification, and find out how and when your student’s scholarship funds are sent to their school.

MyPortal

MyPortal is your one-stop source for managing your student’s Opportunity Scholarship.

The purpose of the MyPortal Guide for Parents is to provide step-by-step instructions to guide parents through important steps of the award process, including how to:

• check/complete required tasks
• select/change your active school
• upload documents
• review notifications
• update your email address
